Stumped on school

Looking to enrol in school. Theres a program at Norquest college that I like but I’m not sure Norquest is a good place to get an education.

Any folks out there willing to share their personal experience? Do employers higher Norquest graduates?

Thanks in advance!

  1. I took a course at norquest and I got a job on 118th working nights, 10/10 would recommend

It’s program and industry dependent. If you just go in and say get a generic business or arts degree by itself then you aren’t going to find very much. If you’re looking to get working I’d recommend NAIT as their programs are very industry-catered and there are many catered to specific kinds of jobs.

Why would Norquest not be a good place to get an education?? Grant macewan was a college for years before becoming a university. Is it the word Norquest or the word college or the mindset you have about Norquest that question your mind?

It would depend on what you want to take. I went through Norquest to get my LPN and it was great and I got a job during my last preceptorship. That was 4 years ago, I’m still working at the same location and love it.

  5. Such a wide open question. It depends what you’re looking for. I took bio sci at NAIT… and I loved them. I took some distance learning LPN through norquest and loved them to.
