Vacation Planning

I’m just curious where everyone books their vacations from? Do you use a travel agent? A website?

I’ve decided to go on a last minute vacation but the websites I was looking at the prices are higher now.

I can’t book for a few weeks but I was hoping to not have to pay alot.

  2. Thank you Tam Tam!! ❤️ I’m a travel consultant here in Edmonton, this right here is one great reason why it’s wise to use a travel consultant rather than an online website. If you would like to send me a message I can have a look for you. However, we do have access to the same, or similar pricing as you would see online. I might be able to make some other recommendations though. 🙂 – Chantele

  3. We book thru the flight centre travel agent. Have never had a problem with them! Depending when your planning to go, and where it’s going to be expensive and hard to find what you want. March is spring break. We have a trip planned and it’s costing us $1800 to change the dates by 4 days sooner and it’s on request because the hotel’s at the resort is booked solid

  4. Depending on where you want to go. I usually use redtag.ca for places like Vegas, Cuba, etc. For Europe and Asia I generally start with google flights to get an idea of flights and hotel.com for European rooms and agoda.com for hotel rooms in Asia.

Websites are good but remember prices are different at different times of the year. Example march has spring break for most universities and colleges especially in the states so your beach locations are going to be crazy.

  14. Hello ! I’m a freelance agent and online travel concierge, you can find me on Facebook and Instagram under Kazoom. Yes websites and online sites are easy and simple, however pls be aware because you don’t always get what you want unless you’re a “fine print reader”. A lot of people are also very misunderstood when it comes to using an agent. We have a lot of access that you will never see or hear of, special promotions and discounts that only we can access. It’s all about finding the right person that actually listens to you and what it is you want but also educates you in the process and what to pay attention to. I created my company based on customer service and expertise because I genuinely love what I do and love to help people, especially when it comes to their vacations and memories. I do not consider myself a traditional agent as I have access to everything you see out there and more and I do not discriminate based on who you use or want book with. Typically I can match everything or beat it. I make the suppliers work for me and I work for the client. So please feel free to contact me at info@kazoomtravel.com or you can message me on my social media or give me a call at 780 904 6436. Your vacations is supposed to be a joyful time no matter what your budget is. Cheers!

We have a travel agent. When we got married in Mexico the resort was asking for extra payments that were not outlined. We called our travel agent and she fixed the problem. When you go through a travel website there is nobody to help you.

Online and search daily to get the best deal. They change hr to hr on some sites. Decide where first so you can set up email alerts of deals

Honestly get a quote with a travel agent. Lots you don’t pay for their services unless you book. It cannot hurt to get a quote. They can access other booking systems specific to the travel industry. I worked in one for years (not as an agent) so I typically book my own but I would use a travel agent if it was a place I wasn’t familiar with or outside of the US. I prefer the support you get should something happen.
