A Big Thank you for Rescuing “Goostav”

A Big Shoutout to the couple who rescued the orange legged goose (Greater White Fronted Goose) on Nov. 22, 2016 at 29A Ave between 99 St and Gateway.

Although this elusive goose’s wing is not fixable there is a happy ending, the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton has arranged for him to go to the Assiniboine Zoo in the New Year where they already have a Snow Goose and joining Goostav from another Wildlife Rehab down south will be another Greater White Fronted Goose.

Now how the silly goose got across 23 ave and 99 st at rush hour is a complete mystery but he is sure one lucky goose!

Help support our Team Goostav to raise funds for the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton. We want to thank them for making Goostav’s story a “happily ever after” one and provide them with resources to continue to do what they do!
