Bonnie Doon Mall

I was at the Bonnie Doon Mall calendar club kiosk with my daughter today (Friday the 1st) and there was a bearded gentleman making a purchase. The guy working asked if he wanted to buy a teddy bear, I believe proceeds went to charity but I’m not 100% sure. The guy said “yeah” and pointed at my daughter and said “I’ll give it to her”.

He asked me “mom is it ok?” And handed my daughter the bear and wished her a Merry Christmas. I didn’t get the chance to thank him as much as I wanted, she was kinda in that “tantrummy when am I gonna get my nap” stage and I was mildly flustered.

The chances are slim, but If you see this, thank you kind sir. My kid LOVES that bear and it hasn’t left her side all day. You made a toddlers day, and mine.

  1. Christmas. Where accepting toys from strangers is completely acceptable after spending the rest of the year telling them it’s not. Haha.
Just kidding. What a kind gesture.

Hahaha, I was thinking the same thing about sitting on Santa’s lap. Any other time, it would not be acceptable for a child to sit on a strange old man’s lap. Still very cute and very kind
