Cat help

Hi I’m looking for advice on inappropriate urination on a NEUTERED Male cat. I love my cat so much and will be heartbroken if I have to give him away or surrender back to the SPCA. I’m willing to try anything to prevent this problem but sadly have limited money.

I have spent thousands of dollars on emergency surgery for him for a urethral blockage and he has been diagnosed with idiopathic urethral cystitis. He gets UTI s all the time (probably about 5 in the last year) and pees everywhere. I have many clothes, shoes, backpacks and bedding that has been destroyed due to this.

I’ve tried expensive prescription cat food., forcing him to drink more water. Clean fresh water daily. I have tried multiple litter boxes and currently have a $600 automatic litterbox that he LOVES. Unscented, clumping litter. I’ve changed my house for him and nothing helps.

I’m at my last straw. I’m terrified of him peeing on my bed or couch or something expensive. I don’t know what else to do. Does anyone have any advice?

What would you do? Surrender him? 😭😭😭😭😭😭

    Try UroMAXX. It’s a liquid you mix into your cats food that helps coat their stomach and prevents urinary tract infections as well as many other things.
    My cat was peeing blood on and off for years and no vet could seem to find a solution. Started using this and since day 1 he’s been back to normal.

    You can find it on Amazon.ca for about $34 and will last for months.

    I am also using Hills Urinary Care c/d with an anti stress ingredient which has helped with his anxiety and 1 can of wet a day to add a little extra water.

    I feed 1 can of wet and 3/4 cup of dry.
    Wet= $50/30 cans
    Dry= $45 for 6.35lb bag.

    If you don’t try the food definitely try UroMAXX and see if it makes a difference for you. The ratings are great on Amazon !

    I hope this helps your kitty !
