Cheapest vet for dental work

I have a cat who needs dental work and our vet says it will be around $2,200.

Hoping there is a vet out there who doesn’t want my arm and leg.

  3. If you can travel contact Gibbons vet. 20minutes north of the city. He is amazing and affordable. He’s in it for the animals.

  4. If you don’t mind a drive, Lac Ste. Anne vet in Gunn. Dr. Fryer is the best! Loves the animals and doesn’t charge anywhere near what the city vets charge. I don’t bring my animals anywhere else, have used her for over 15 years.

Call a town vet – they are cheaper.

If you don’t drive, try Glenora cat clinic. I’m loyal to them, I have a cat with bad genes so he cost me a limb every year. They’ve had the best rates out of everyone when I shopped around. Dr. Peters is amazing

    • I have to disagree with the glenora cat clinic. They were rude and accusatory when I was taking my 16 yo cat there. Then when he had gotten to sick and needed to be put down they refused to see us for days. We ended up having to take him somewhere else in the end to put him out of his suffering.

Really? That’s strange. I’ve taken my cat there 10 times at the very least, and it has always been wonderful. Was this years ago? I know they got new management a few years back.

Well my dad pulled my teeth, he also pulled dogs teeth. Lil floss around it, then you hook it to the door knob. That’s how we did it for kids and pets

  20. Try Greenbank vet in Edmonton. My regular vet quoted me between $2000-$2500 and I believe I ended up paying $975 with them. They were also very polite and explained everything that they were going to do. They also kept me updated until my girl was ready to be picked up.

  23. Ermineskin is affordable. Just make sure you have an itemized estimate so you can compare what exactly you’re getting for the price. Everyone lists things a little differently so you can’t just judge on the total.

  24. Morinville vet clinic has something called an optimum care plan that can help with dental costs. You could call them and find out more about it if you want!
