CONCERN

I drive, very little. Notice people don’t look before crossing at malls ,intersections, but also drivers act like no ones on the road but them, no caution they don’t pay attention.

I’ve been rear ended 4 times in less than 2 years, all rite off s,one truck i had only 5 months.so i walk more than i drive.i have close calls every day! one driver while crossing at cross walk a driver drifted a left turn so fast drifting i had to run across to aviod getting hit and the driver was laughing as he turned lift. i am 64 and in no rush to be road pizza.

HAVE A GOOD DAY EVERY ONE! OH YA I LIVE IN CAPLANO.

  1. You drive very little and you’ve been rear-ended 4 times in less than 2 years? Please go for some refresher training. The gas pedal is not always the enemy.

I usually carry a flashlight when I walk…I shine it on the road, it is out of the ordinary so driver’s notice me. If they don’t, I shine it into the car(especially if they are texting, they think it is an on coming car about to hit them, smartens them up!) …

I hear you! Edmonton drivers suck ass. Am I the only one who actually went to AMA drivers ed as a teen and then took my drivers exam? I feel most people would fail a drivers exam if they had to retake it. I took my learners and my advanced road test in the dead of winter to prove I had no problem passing in the worst driving conditions. That being said I make mistakes like any other human, but I learn from each mistake.

  6. There is something to be said for defensive driving skills.

And maybe a critical look at who the common denominator is in those situations.
