Good veterinary

Hey Edmonton I’m needing some help. I recently spent $2240 to have dental work and surgery for my precious baby . 3 months have passed and now the few teeth she got left are loose and need to be removed .

I’m totally tapped out a d just recently returned to work and still catching up . I can’t afford to pay another 1500 for his surgery . I’ve applied at AHAS to see if they can help me with any medical.

I’m so worried his teeth are causing her pain , I can’t bare to see her suffer . She shows no signs but I know dogs have high tolerance. Is there any options out there for me ?

Edmonton please guide me so I can get my beautiful old guys teeth removed .

My dogs each had dentals there and had 4-6 teeth removed each plus a cleaning and it was like $500-ish each. WAY more affordable than your average vet clinic.

The vet in Lewis estates did my mom’s dogs teeth for a reasonable amount. Spruce grove vet is really good too.

The further out of town you go for vet care usually the cheaper it is. I hear Westlock vet is good and Gibbons Vet clinic.

  6. Spruce Grove Animal Clinic 780-962-3233. My dog gets her teeth done every couple years. With extractions we paid less than $400.

  7. Just a word of caution. If your little one is a senior the risks are very high for them to go under anaesthetics. I only voice this because I wish someone told me including my vet because my girl went for a cleaning and a few extracts and she didn’t make it. I am so heart broken. So please do your homework and ask the vet questions. I wish you all the best.

    • Well thanks for that terrifying info! Sorry to Here. How old?
My almost 9 year old will be getting extractions soon. They’re doing bloodwork first though.

There is a small loan you can take. The vet would have the info and should be able to assist- health smart.you can pay in installments. We ended up using one for our guys freak accident where he broke both bones in his front leg after falling into a gopher hole and needed an emergency vet surgery- plate and 11 screws and over 6k

Lisa Wood totally! They even called me when mine was under because there were a few teeth that could’ve been left or extracted. I would definitely use them again!

Call Beaverhill Veterinary Services in Tofiled. They are wonderful and charge a fraction of what they do in the city. It’s a 30 min drive east on Hwy 14 (from south Edm).

  18. I always take my girls to Rosslyn https://www.facebook.com/rosslynvet/
They have a dental month, where dental procedures are less. Although I can’t remember off hand what month it usually is.

  21. This clinic was rated on of the top 3 in Edmonton….their prices are a fraction of what others charge and they are amazing. I was quote $3-4000 for a procedure on a rescue cat and this clinic did a much less invasive procedure for $431
