Guardian Angel

I just wanted to shout out to a random stranger who was looking out for the safety of my daughter on Saturday night.
She went out with friends and her boyfriend to a bar on 103 st downtown on Saturday night. Unfortunately with some pre- drinking at a party my daughter didn’t make it too long at the bar. She had way too much and really could not take care of herself. Fortunately she has a great group of friends and an awesome boyfriend who called me and I went to get them. At appriximately midnight they were sitting outside the bar when a gentleman wearing an Oiler jersey walked by and asked if they were OK. My daughters boyfriend said yes and that they were waiting for me. The man said OK and walked away. He then stopped and came back, bent down and asked my daughter if she was alright and then asked her what her boyfriends name was. She told him and then he asked to see her boyfriends ID to make sure he was who he said he was. When the man was satisfied he left. I just wanted to say thank you to the stranger who made sure my girl was in good hands. It is comforting to know there are such wonderful people out there. Thank you so much!

Glad to hear they passed the story on gratefully rather than put up a fuss to a stranger “not minding their business”

    This is a great story.

  22. Great example of not being led by ignorance but to SEE people and the situations going on around them. I am so proud of this stranger for taking the time and the actions to make sure she was safe.
The sex trafficking and abductions have been rising. Hope this inspires others to do the same! Thank you for shouting this out!!! ❤️
