Help with Possible Mouse in House

Hi, I’ve lived in Edmonton for a couple years. This past week I’ve noticed signs that I might have mice. I live in a house in an area with a bit of renovations happening around me.

Can anyone recommend the best way to get rid of them, how to tell for sure that I have them and any other advice please. I’m kind of freaked out about the whole thing! Thanks!

  1. Lol my cats bring in live voles, mice, baby rabbits, birds and bats.. but for real make sure there isnt piles of clothes and available food first off… second would be to simply trap and block any possible entrances (easier said than done)

Forget the cat idea. Get Tomcat sticky traps and place them against the walls. Even the dollar store ones work well. Mice travel along walls. So place them near the droppings along the walls and you’ll get them. I keep them in my shed, I’ve even had one die after barely catching both back legs. The best part, there’s no blood or anything, just toss the whole thing out. Unless you have to hammer one in the morning, been there, done that.
