Horrid Experience at Subway

This happened to a friend of mine today and I think its disgusting that this women is even aloud to serve customers.

She should be held accountable for her actions!! As a mother with a 4 1/2 year old Autistic son, I find this wrong on so many levels.

Lol if the rest of the family stayed behind to eat, it wasn’t nearly as rude an experience as the OP made it out to be. Or, perhaps, the child… autistic or not… really is not capable of appropriate behavior and even the rest of his family was grateful to eat in peace for once. People with communicable, air borne diseases are also humans deserving of love… but do you think I’d want someone extremely ill touching and breathing on my food in any capacity? Does that make me a discriminatory bitch? (FYI we call this previous statement an ANALOGY which means if you mention how dumb I am for thinking Autism is an air borne disease, let me mention now that I think you’re a stupid twat with zero reading comprehension. Not that I’d want to offend you or anything…. maybe I’ll go apply at Subway guys…)

If a kid is losing his shit at Subway, then yeah.. maybe it’s the fucking kid’s issue and MAYBE not everyone should go everywhere just to see if they can get offended and bitch about it. The kid was probably stoked to get out and run anyway. Stupid parents try to force a kid with issues to do shit that shouldn’t be expected of them but then want the world to cater to them when said kid annoys the piss out of everyone. Boo hoo.

Wow. You have a real problem with empathy, Laura

    • The child is autistic. The worker should have more patience and compassion. What should they do? Lock him in his room forever? That’s ridiculous.

      [6]
    • Laura Dunn plz for the sake of human race DO NOT PRO CREATE IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY

      [6]
    • People like you need to be locked up in ur room wow did you really just type that s**t

      [2]
    • Laura no need to work at subway for you to be an outright bitch. You’re the reason there should be laws regarding who can have children.

      [2]
    • You think autism is an airborne illness? The saddest thing is you’re a mom too. May horrible things happen to you.

    • Kristi Dick Kristi Dick says:

“Fucking kid”??? you use be related to the subway worker. How dare anyone refer any child that way. You have ZERO idea (it’s very obvious) about the autism spectrum. You’re a nasty being. Far from human.

      [1]
    • Kristi Dick Kristi Dick says:

Doesn’t matter where it is, no one has a right to treat anyone that way. Ever. And that fact you refer to Autism as an airborne illness shows you really are beyond reality.

Kenneth B MacLean isn’t nearly as bad as me, Alexis Musik. Stupidity and honesty are quite different traits. If the amazing Kenneth B. MacLean couldn’t understand the analogy in my post then I’m not overly worried about the strength of his bad-things-happen-spell.

    • Laura Dunn if the person doesn’t like their job, then they should find something better. That doesn’t give them the right to treat other people with disrespect. So what if they have to pick up after others and clean up? Pretty sure its in the job description so they knew what they signing up for. They get paid to do it.

I didn’t call you any names. But nice try honey. I’m more of an adult than you to try and use my amazingly awesome family name against me.
And because the Internet is AWESOME! All this from a ” mother” who takes pics WHILE DRIVING.
You must be the Subway worker. Lol

Awww you’ve been under a rock for so long you haven’t seen traffic lights before, honey? Sometimes! They turn this fancy shade of rouge! At which time mothers like me who adore children when they are silent and cute can safely take a picture which has taken about half a second to do since before my child was born. Creep harder, “honey”.

Oh Kristi Dick I sincerely hope you’ve never once lost your train of thought, eaten a snack, drank from a to-go cup, sang a song (and DEFINITELY not changed the radio station) whist driving your own precious ass around town.

Wow I really can’t believe what you had the nerve to write. Our son has Autism, moderate. He is 20 yrs old, sometimes when we are out in the public he has a hard time. NO we shouldn’t have to stay home, No one owns the world, be the chance you want to see in the World. Make it a nicer place not worse.

Uh this isn’t a law firm we’re all crying over here. It’s Subway. If I worked at a shit hole like Subway I’d probably be an outright bitch too after picking up after the thousands of other kids that parents can’t be bothered to take care of.

    • I respect that your defending freedom of speech. We’re defending our equality rights under section 15 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. If someone with a disability disrupts your enjoyment of a movie, you should consider getting Netflix. We also paid for the movie and we have as much right to be in public spaces as you do.

    • You guys are assholes to jeopardize someone’s livelihood just because they don’t like autistic children. Seriously, people are allowed to not enjoy such things. Some people.hate children in general… before you start trying to call me heartless or whatever I’m only defending freedom of speech , I could care less if some kid is having a fit. As long as it don’t interrupt a movie, where you pay to enjoy a quality experience

Lol! Listen bitches, not sure where you’ve been living but the economy is basically tapped out til I’m ready to retire anyway. Maybe consider that if I haven’t already been laid off when every company in the province is at a skeleton crew these days, it’s probably because I work for people who comprehend and value cleverness and reading comprehension unlike you morons. My job and the effort I put into it is why when I go to Subway for dinner and there’s someone else’s kid losing his shit, I judge the shit out of the MOTHER of the “problem child” cause his own mommy couldn’t be bothered to cook dinner either but she doesn’t even have the ability to consider that her child with a very common and understandable disease is unlikely to not tear shit up and disturb everyone else because he is so out of sorts. A child, particularly one with Autism, is unable to clearly explain their emotions. It’s OUR jobs as mothers (ohmygod collectivegasp yesIhaveachildtoo) to support our kids and any abilities or disabilities that they have which means we might have to leave Subway sometimes when our kids are losing their shit. I never once blamed the child or the disease. The situation the kid was forced into where he was exposed to bullying is the fault of the parent’s. Plain and simple.

Please tell me more about how fired I should be Chantel Allison.

    • Wow do you people have lives ? She’s entitled to her own opinion. If any average child was screaming and causing a scene you’d tell them to be a better parent. Not that I agree with Laura or anything but I do think this whole public shaming and trying to destroy someone’s life over her opinion is absurd and you guys sound like a bunch of teenagers that need help

      [0]
    • You just keep digging yourself deep and deep into a hole Laura Dunn.

      [0]
    • I agree on some level with Laura. When average kids act up, screaming and yelling, no one expects us to make everyone in the room deal with it. We leave. But, if the kid isn’t “average”, the crowd is expected to accept that. Sorry. Kids screaming in public places of any kind should have the opportunity to go somewhere and chill out. Was the worker rude? Yes. Do I think they told her to let her child eat outside like a dog? No. I don’t.

    • She didnt even say anything bad. You fucking liberal lemmings haha. Just because someone has autism doesnt give them a ticket to run around fucking with peoples meals. Mom should have done her job sooner

  3. I would contact Subway head office and bring this to their attention. I believe each subway is individually owned and operated so it may not be dealt with in the same manner.

to me first off let me apologize to you on behalf of the ignorate waitress …. I would have gotten her name … then would have asked to speak to the manager from another waitress at the front counter and had this discussion immediately … and this would have ended that .. plus I would have written to the head office WHEN I GOT HOME as to what had transpired in their subway store .. and what the manager did or did not do … if he told me and my son to leave as well then my family would NOT HAVE STAYED and finished their meal. …hope this is going to go viral if enough people post it ….Subway they should be ashamed of themselves …. that is the same as telling a disfigured person that they cannot come into their store as that may bother customers …. that girl has no business of being a waitress …SHE IS NOT A PEOPLE PERSON OBVIOUSLY ….. lots of people are looking for work …

  13. the worker prob thought he was a normal kid and you were not controlling him, you should have just sat down with the rest of the family and ate regardless of what that person said. and put in a complaint about them to the manager b4 you left about the comment they said. Sry that happened to your family.
