  29. I am guessing that is a pretty busy time of day and you assumed that because the driver may have pulled around another driver that may have been turning that you think they got into that lane on purpose to splash you and your daughter. In reality they were probably just going around a vehicle and didn’t realize there was a puddle there. Most people don’t purposely splash women and children for fun. Now take a deep breath and let it go! This should not trigger you to a spot where you wish death on anyone. Perhaps you were having a bad day and this made it worse, be thankful that the vehicle didn’t hit you and harm you and your child! The next few weeks are going to be full of puddles and splashes so be aware of your surroundings as sometimes drivers can’t get around making splashes. I hope your day gets better. Eat a Snickers cause you sound very hangry.

It’s funny how many are offended by the language and flipping this on the poster. It’s no secret the city is littered with assholes and you know damn well some would do this on purpose. Slowing down to avoid drenching someone and their child in sub-zero temps isn’t hard.

So they likely typed this angry because someone just soaked their kid outside. How many of you upset by “I hope you die” have never uttered that phrase in a fit of rage… would be ok getting drenched in sub zero temps and being even more relaxed if their child is with them?

I get why they are angry, maybe they wait a bit to post and maybe they choose a different phrase but the high and mighty need to come down off the high horse here and consider for a minute their own level of rage if they were walking the street at that point.

It’s funny how “I hope you die” which has literally been uttered by, what I would guess, all the population at some point is worth attacking with zero consideration that it’s a knee jerk and likely not genuine feeling but the fact that some asshole decided to bathe a woman and a kid walking down a street in minus temps is no longer an issues because of those words…

  41. So many years ago I was driving on the street I lived on, and it was quite flooded with water, I swerved to avoid splashing water on a person on the sidewalk, what I didn’t realize is that someone was opening their car door and it splashed them instead. The person jumped back into their car, tried to run me into traffic, keyed my car at the red light while screaming he was going to kill me (my kids were in the can scared the crap out of them) and came back that night and smashed every window of my van out. The whole thing was completely over the top. He clearly thought I did it on purpose when the reality is I had no clue he was opening his car, I was trying to prevent spraying the pedestrian.

You sound as crazy as that guy. Sometimes things happen and they suck, but that doesn’t mean you wish death on someone or rant like a lunatic.

    [0]
  42. I’m not condoning the extreme hate here but if someone splashed my daughter I’d be pretty enraged too. It’s called free speech. They didn’t threaten to kill them. If we don’t accept this what’s next? Oh, can’t say that… oh …. or that. I agree it’s … woah. But anyone messes with my baby and I’d probably be saying the same things. lol. Until after I cool down.

    [0]
  43. You have sealed your own karma my dear. You should learn how it works exactly before spouting your mouth off. The energy you carry with you is why you got that splash. It was your karma coming at you. Yet again you haven’t learned the lesson that is being brought to you. Learn your own lessons and your life will be easier.

  44. My husband splashed someone once… he couldn’t move over and slowed as much as he could with out causing an accident on the busy road , but it still happened. He felt like shit for it but it was unavoidable

  46. Tani Ta Tani Ta says:

Are you certain it was “on purpose”? Were you watching the driver before and during passing you? Sometimes the puddles on the side of a lane a person is driving in cannot be avoided. Sometimes it can but not typically unless the other lane is open. Sorry u got splashed but unless your 100% certain someone did it intentionally its not exactly right to post and especially wishing death on them. Too much

  47. I got splashed yesterday by a truck did it on purpose Edmonton concrete cutting and coring 430 pm 99st 76 ave the only vehicle to spray onto sidewalk 8 feet over transit bus didnt even hit puddle. This guy dis it on purpose .geez thanks asshole

  60. I would also suggest anger management course, but you’d probably get mad and quit.

    [0]
  61. wow anger control issues ? why get so bent out of shape? why do you assume they did it on purpose. Sucks what happened for sure but your reaction certainly seems over the top. You got wet with dirty water yes that is gross but wishing that person dead? Wow hope you did not express that anger in front of your children.

    [0]
  62. Need a snickers? Like wow. It’s water. You won’t die. Pretty shitty wishing death to people who may not have had any control over it. They can’t move to another lane if there are vehicles in it.

  70. I used to do this in high school. I’d drive by the junior high and splash those kids. Was funny until the cops showed up to my school, to have a word with me.

  71. Jordan Lemke Jordan Lemke says:

Sometimes its unavoidable. I purposely avoid walking beside puddles when there are cars around for this exact reason. Drivers arent going to stop in front of a puddle because your walking past just to avoid splashing you. And wishing death on them for this? Sucks to suck

    [0]
  72. As much as that is terrible and not kind in the least, I’m not quite sure death is a suitable punishment. I could be wrong.

    [0]
  73. Also, are you a good witch or a bad witch? That makes a difference with this post completely.
