So the dreaded Menopause has landed. My once svelte figure that I could maintain through a vigorous once a month workout, has left me looking and feeling like a beached pilot whale. Fabulous other symptoms include my skin (amongst other bodily parts) that are as dry as the Sahara, and body aches in the morning which could require a walker to get out of bed. Oh, and the nightsweats and hot-flashes, especially helpful when I’m in the middle of that all important presentation at work.
Merlot is quickly becoming my “go to” but I’m afraid going this route to ease symptoms may land me in Betty Ford. My question is to the ladies out there, but also to men whose partners have suffered through this fantastic life change: What worked for you? Feel free to list any potions, lotions, supplements, books- anything at all that you found at helpful. I’m all ears. Sarcastic remarks are welcomed as I could use a good laugh. Thanks.
