Negative Review on Lash Up.

I bought a groupon for lash up, and the same day I used my first one they posted on Facebook urging me to buy another one (I have attached the screenshot). They told me I couldn’t use a second one when I went back, and that once it expired I could use it towards the cost of my service.

Now they are telling me I’m not allowed to use it at cost and I shouldn’t have bought more than one, although they clearly advised me to do so!

The owner was unwilling to take ownership for her own mistake and now I’m out $80!

  2. They have to at least honour the cash price you’ve paid.

If they won’t, talk to Groupon. Anytime I’ve had to deal with them they’ve had great customer service !

It’s says on groupon “after the expiration date printer on your Groupon, it’s promotional value expires, but you can still redeem it at the merchant for the amount paid towards the goods or services listed on the Groupon”. So if they’re not honouring it I would email groupon to report the problem

  3. I just used my Lash Up Groupon last Saturday and they told me I was not allowed to use a Groupon again. As well on groupon they say only one per customer. Sorry you were told incorrectly! Lash Up is an amazing place! I was really impressed!

I agree with Chloe Préfontaine.. just contact Groupon, they will usually give that back to you in Groupon credit at the very least if they don’t refund you the whole amount.

  8. The statement made on the face book post clearly states please purchase another one. This is the companies mistake, not the customers. If they aren’t willing to honor what they advertised it’s not worth ever returning and they will loose business and in the long run will hurt the company. Not worth 75.00 for a company to have bad reviews for there mistake!!! Even if groupon states one per customer she was lead to believe through the companies post to purchase another one Please!

  9. Contact anonymous Edmonton if you cannot get any answers or replies from them. They helped me get $120 back from a “trailer” who took my money then f***d to Vegas for 6 months

Did u take a screen shot of the comment in which they urged u to buy another? I would show that to “groupon”. Not ok.

My name is Carlea Stackaruk and I am the owner of Lash Up. Stephanie yourself and I spoke over the phone regarding your upcoming appointment and the reasons as to why you wouldn’t be able to use another voucher at our studio. Our Groupon campaign is strictly one per person, I can understand how the previous Facebook post was misleading and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. It is solely the customers responsibility to read the “fine print” section of their voucher prior to purchasing it! When going through the fine print section of your voucher it clearly states one per person, only new customers. Groupon will not refund your money as the voucher is expired and it is once again your responsibility to read the “fine print” section of your voucher, I will personally refund your $80 dollars.

On behalf of Lash Up I would like to apologize for any inconvenience that was caused to you.

This exact thing happened to me. They were very unprofessional about it, and actually, quite rude. I have never gone back. She also wouldn’t honor the dollar amount I paid for the Groupon. I emailed groupon and got a refund. I’ll never return there again
