Perpetually bored

To the world around me, I am funny and talkative and friendly. But what you don’t know is that I am actually completely and utterly friendless.

No one calls me, no one texts me or visits me. while my kids and husband are out, I live in complete solitude..deafening silence for days, weeks, months..

I’m too ashamed and embarrassed to tell anyone how lonely I am.

I agree with the advice given but with a caveat – most people feel alone or worse, lonely, because they can’t relate to the people around them and vice versa.

The best way to reach out to people is start identifying what are your interests. When you have that, focus in that area to meet like minds that you can understand and relate to in order to establish meaningful networks.

Use the app…Meetups. it’s a great way to meet like minded individuals in a social setting

  3. Join a social group or two. Put yourself out there.

Put yourself out there .. take a class.. or visit some senior centers…and put yourself into a position where you will meet new people. I know it’s cliche.. but you have to be a friend to make a friend… good luck making friends

I am sorry you feem this way. I prefer the drama free life of being by myself ( when the husband isn’t home), I always have things to do but I hope you find yourself some friends that will brighten your days.
