Please help or leave

I’m no one special. I’m a very grateful person and do my best to help in situations. I’ve had two incidences this year where I’ve had to call ambulance on people.

One was a severely drunk and injured lady in a bush and the other was a severe domestic incident where the lady was beaten, bleeding and calling out for help in my appartment building. I understand people want to “help” but standing there doing nothing, talking to people a few feet away from me is frustrating. I’m trying to help the individuals that need it so I can get them the right help they need. Your help is distracting from the situation. It’s the same as rubber necking at a car accident.

So thank you for your concern. But unless you can physically help, please return to your home, or where ever you came from. I’m sure first responders would say the same. Everyone deserves respect and confidentiality as well when things aren’t going well.

Absolutely. People who have not been adversely affected by real trauma or people who have no real medical experience loooooooove to stand around and watch the drama unfold.

  2. Told people straight up to wleither help or get tue fuck out. Works every time (somone whose delt with incidents too )

I agree to an extent. I’ve called 911 for others as well and I was glad others showed up so I could send them on missions: please go get a blanket or towel , please go get water, etc. And others Know things I don’t i It’s not always just about you being a sole hero. People want to help just sometimes don’t be know what to do or how to help.

  4. Thanks to you for your caring concern and actions. Not everyone is as brave.

I’m not sure it’s so much brave as it is kindness and having empathy for people in a crisis situation. Having said that, not everyone is able to act when they are needed. I’ve found myself acting to help in crisis and keeping a straight head only to start shaking and crying when it’s been dealt with.

Sometimes people want to help but don’t know what to do$ Fear can set in! God bless you for your courage and a love for others! ❤️

  6. Thank you for also being concerned for our first responders. Leave if you aren’t helping. The first thing a first responder will need is space to work. Dealing with people hanging around out of curiosities sake must be very frustrating for them. Shoutout Moderator-Bonnie
