PSA: Distracted Driving isn’t a Joke. Please Share this to Remind Everyone
As of September 1, 2011, distracted driving became a ticketable offence in Alberta.
As of January 1, 2016, the fine for breaking the distracted driving law is a $287 fine AND 3 demerit points.
Distracted driving resulting in nearly twice as many deaths as impaired drivers. Yes, it’s worse than drinking and driving.
Dear friends, family, acquaintances and Facebook friends alike: Please don’t drive distracted… Complete strangers reading and watching this video: Please don’t drive distracted and hit someone I know (or anyone for that matter).
