Restore my faith in the mental health system, I dare you

I went through a traumatic experience and need some help, so I’m looking for recommendations for therapists that offer sliding scale fees.

I’ve tried the downtown clinic and they were useless. It’s my understanding that to get good help you’ve gotta pay, but I can’t afford much. Not comfortable going to any of the religious places.

Tired of being dicked around by our shitty mental health system. Hope someone can help…

  1. Jewish Family Services (I think) in the west end provides sliding scale counselling and is nondenominational. I had great success there when pregnant and didn’t have to pay anything.
