STOP PATs

Stop the PATs. All they attempt to do is evaluate teachers. They have no relevance in the classroom, in the news, in the Fraser Report.

They are a glimpse into a student’s learning. They are not reflective of special needs. They are nothing but a student stress inducing mechanism. They do not indicate a students comprehension of the entire curriculum.

Get real government, walk a mile in a teacher’s shoes, spend a month in their classroom. They do not reflect a student’s academic level. Trust teachers to evaluate their students, not PATs.

  1. Seams like the only people that are worried about PATS are the teachers failing our children! 3 posts in 3 days. Seams like its more about the teachers then the children! As for trusting the teachers, fat chance. Teachers have been using our children for years, to help push there agenda. If your actually doing your job, then you have nothing to worry about.

  2. No… PATS should go ahead. They’re only part of a bigger evaluation system to ensure our children are receiving a proper education. Why the push to stop them?? Teachers nervous about having to teach the proper class curriculum..
