Thank you!

The other day, while i was parking at the Walmart at South Commons, I hit another vehicle with my truck. I stayed until the driver came out and exchanged insurance information.

The driver was not the owner but he phoned the owner and i spoke to him. The damage was minimal but I still felt so badly about what i had done.

In the end, I received a message that the owner was not going to submit anything to insurance and was not going to charge me for accident. It would not have come at a good time for me at all and i do appreciate it.

Season Greetings everyone!

Honestly, I would hope it’s more of a person who knows what kind of skullfuckery the insurance companies do to people, probably had it done to them themselves (or someone they knew) and wanted to spare someone from the same fate. Like even the smallest accident or infraction can double your yearly rates. It’s ridiculous.

  3. That happened to me one time and the driver saw there was no real damage and said “have a great day”. Sometimes nice people do exist.

  4. That happened to me too. I had a note left on my car that they had hit it and left their phone number and name. I called to say not to worry, my car was old and had so many dings and scratches, I wasn’t going to make them pay for a scuff and dent on my bumper. By the time I got home the police had left a message on my machine. They had already called it in and reported it, so I went in and told them that I didn’t want to pursue it any further. I hope I earned a karma point lol I could sure use one! LOL

  6. Wow glad to hear there are still honest people out there. We were hit n run in a parking lot this past weekend…..unfortunately they left and we are now having to cover the cost out of pocket. Sad

  7. You’re basing this on a simple phone call?

I had the opposite. Someone rearended me. He wanted to pay cash. After estimates he refused. I ended up getting police and my insurance going after his to get resolution.

People words don’t mean much. Protect yourself.

  11. Accidents in parking lots are 50/50 no matter who’s at fault, so it’s often not worth putting in a claim

By “another” vehicle, do you mean it’s almost like a daily occurrence?
