Training & Working

I’m a scaffolder currently taking a boxing classes in the evening. I’m doing my best with eating and definitely cut out the junk.

I’m looking for advice from other people that have a physically demanding job.

How do you keep your energy levels up for training, have faster recovery and still put in a solid 8-10 hour days work?

The reason you probably feel less energetic is cause your body used all its fuel up, so eat lots! Including carbs, id suggest eating a carb meal prior to your boxing class so it’ll give you energy

Calorie count with trial and error- eating either above or under what you consume, depending on your goals. Every body is a bit different. Calorie consumption will fluctuate depending on how much your work activity changes… but overtime by watching calories and how your body weight reacts, you should be able to more accurately gauge your calorie consumption. It’ll take a while (weeks to a month or more sometimes) to learn your body. Then adjust what you eat in a day from there.

Hi!! I am a warehouse supervisor and I adopted a whole foods plant based lifestyle! Drink lots of water! Avoid all processed food(dairy or sugarfilled). I eat at least 10 servings of veggies a day and another 6 of fruit! Lots of healthy fats like avocados and coconut, nuts and seeds. I bulk up all my rice (with quinoa, barley, and lentils)! I had to triple my caloric Intake and if I dip below I am tired/Sore! I run a Personalized Veggie Meal Planning/Prep and offer homemade healthy meals too! Veggie On the Run. I also highly recommend CBD energy and focus spray or any CBD products for that matter (I sell too if you want!) Good luck!
