Honestly, save your money, grandparents have zero rights in alberta. Your best bet is to mend relationships with the parents and hope for some grandparent time. Especially if the child is 4 months old, as tough as it is on you, no judge will ever rule that a baby under 1 year must have visits away from a parent, especially taking into account things like breastfeeding. I have seen this scenario within my family and trust me, grandparents have no rights. But still stay hopeful, you can always call a lawyers office most will give you a free initial meeting to let you know if they can help you, as every situation is different. Good luck!
